Walk Your Way To Running A 5k

Group Training Sessions

Join our group training- 10 week program and learn how to run a 5k through walking and running workouts. This is a carefully crafted training plan by an experienced certified running coach and includes once a week in-person group training and two additional workouts per week to develop the cardio and muscle strength to complete a 5k in a way that works for you. Be empowered and join this training session. ALL WORKOUTS ARE OUTSIDE- RAIN OR SHINE

LOCATION- STREETS OF SAYVILLE, NEW YORK

A 10 week training program with once a week IN PERSON group trainings.

What is included:

10 weeks of Walk To Run Training - 3 workouts per week.

  • In person group runs on Saturday mornings and two additional workouts to do on your own

  • A pair of Saucony wicking material run socks

  • 15% off running sneakers

  • Two virtual (zoom) GROUP meeting with Coach KB (will be scheduled and not recorded). Need extra support? Additional fee for individual meetings with Coach KB.

  • Recorded workshops on important run/walk topics to help you succeed.

  • Essential guidance for new runners—including proper sneaker fit, safety tips, hydration, stretching, motivation, and building confidence through a supportive running community as you prepare for your 5K.

  • Tools to calm nerves, navigate your first race, and know what to expect on the course—so you feel ready from start to finish.

  • Access to Trainhard platform for additional support, accountability, workout tracking and individual and group support.

START DATE- Saturday, May (TBD). 5k Race event in Sayville: Saturday, June (TBD) PLEASE NOTE- Life is crazy. You may miss some group workout days but that is ok. You will receive support, workouts and information each week to keep you on track. You can also pick another 5k to do in June that works better for you. We can help you navigate any changes you need to make.

Add On:

Weekly 1:1 Accountability Coaching Upgrade- Upgrade to additional 1:1 Zoom check-ins (8 sessions) with Coach KB. You’ll review workouts, celebrate progress, stay motivated, have additional accountability at each check in, receive workout modifications when needed, and get tailored advice and mind-set support that keeps you moving forward. Just one set fee of $60 for powerful, individually focused support.
